Living in the moment means, for example, not spending one's time reminiscing about how things used to be. Living in the moment also means not thinking about what will happen in the future. The moment you think about it, you've missed it. The present moment doesn't exist. In 1995, I bombarded myself with my Canon SLR loaded with film. I pointed the camera at myself without framing the shot, pretending to be surprised as if someone else were taking the photo. But it was me. I held the camera at arm's length and I didn't have much control over the image. I am happy when I am blurry. I am happy when I am out of frame. I am happy when I am not even in it.
