Hélèna Villovitch est autrice, réalisatrice et journaliste.

Après des études d’arts appliqués, elle participe au groupe de cinéastes Molokino. Parmi ses films, on citera J’ai 20 ans, 1984; A ma place, 2003; Bye bye Tiger en collaboration avec Jan Peters, 2004; Le sofa, 2017. On lui doit des romans et recueils de nouvelles qui multiplient avec acuité et drôlerie, les points de vue sur le contemporain. Ils sont parus à L’Olivier : Je pense à toi tous les jours, 1998; Dans la vraie vie, 2005; puis chez Verticales L’immobilier, 2013; Pour en finir avec mon sofa, 2018. Elle a écrit des livres pour enfant édités par L’École des loisirs ou Bayard Jeunesse, ainsi qu’un essai poétique : Le bonheur par le shopping, Maren Sell.
