Made at the same time as Overeating using a similar technique, the 16mm print of this short film segment was scanned when it was first made, as well as 40 years later, in the current state of the original element. The two versions were then interwoven digitally and reframed. This film was originally conceived as a joke, to give the impression that I was squashing cockroaches – insects that threw me into a panic throughout my youth in the tropics.
