Minus 10 is the first sequence in a set of vignettes that embody different orientations around the complexities of war. Alongside archival footage shot in Los Alamos during the development of the world's first atomic weapon, and on Tinian Island, from which the atomic bomb was deployed against Japan, is the haunted voice of an eyewitness to the horror that day in Hiroshima. The Japanese voice remains untranslated, leaving only the sound of exhaustion delivered from within a void that is unspeakable.
