The Shorts Film Festival Trailers were commissioned by the festival and
shot on an Oxberry animation Camera using new and old footage from my
"vault". The film is taped together to make one big strip of film. This was
then re-photographed over a light box, advancing the film(s) frame at time.
The idea was to suggest lots of film, the event of cinema projection and
celebrate film as a medium. They could be available in 35mm as well (both
flat and cinemascope). They were shown in a hundred theaters in the New
York Area for the month before the festival.
