70?s diary films made in the south of France, are re-shot with a photo camera while projected.
The editing made within the camera by an anonymous filmmaker, is no more complex than the shots succession which composed each reel, and in which, one can feel this will to « make a good film ».
The soft slowness during the screening is accented by the reframing of the image, framing it as a recording.
A secondary editing was made in order to produce different rhythms into these scenes from another time, of which the only traces would be this few wavering images, grainy.
We were hoping to get back the freedom of the capture while screening. (yb)
