VIVE LE FILM celebrates the film medium and its capacity to preserve memories. At the centre of the film is a photograph of the filmmaker’s Romanian grandparents, taken at their engagement party in 1927. By the end of the Second World War, the couple were the only surviving members of the group depicted in the photograph.
Commissioned by The Liaison of Independent Filmmakers Toronto for its Film is Dead - Long Live Film omnibus project.
