A CONTRAST IN SOUND

Super 8 originally shot by Helliwell for his FC Judd based documentary Practical Electronica, but not used in the final film. The footage of a Judd released 7” sound effects record was immersed in bleach and then cut up; the soundtrack weaves together sounds from the 7”, as well as extracts from the same series of ‘Contrast’ releases, alongside rhythmic Hellitron tone generator sounds.
