Mónica Baptista is a Portuguese visual artist and filmmaker. Her practice is rooted in analog and photochemical media. She is a co-founder of Laboratório da Torre and Cooperativa Cultural Laia, a project dedicated to production and research in the fields of documentary and experimental cinema.
Her work has been exhibited both in Portugal and internationally, in galleries and film festivals.
