Kôichi Nabeshima is an audio-visual artist. His work is based on the concept of art analysis through a phenomenological approach and the reflection between Nature and Humanity. The environment chosen for his production is crucial to the inspiration and the improvisation that his creation requires.

The societal aspect of the land that separates nature from human society leads him to understand the history of the cultural praxis of those who shaped this territory.

By capturing prosaic images from daily life, both digitally and on 16mm, he creates experimental films with a poetic composition that yields a vibrant results. Thus, he creates a link between individual history and creativity by criticizing the aesthetic values that shaped our sensitivity through community ideas.
