Courtney Hoskins is a writer/director based in Los Angeles. Her short films have aired on the IFC channel and been featured in dozens of film festivals worldwide, including The New York Film Festival, The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Ann Arbor, and BFI London. She has also won awards for her projects, such as the Slusho!! Commercial Contest of Joy with her short film, Slusho! Zoom!!! (with Robots).
She is currently in pre-production on her feature film, Alienation, through her production company, Little Oneironaut Productions, and is promoting her most recently completed 35mm short film, The Not.
From a young age, her curiosity and creative drive led her to deconstruct and tinker with everything from household appliances to technology. This passion for the art of storytelling is woven into all her endeavors, whether working on film or video projects, writing fiction, or building software applications, seeing science and technology as tools for communication and understanding the human experience. When not "tinkering," she enjoys adventures, spending time in the air, on top of mountains, underwater, or out in the middle of nowhere with a telescope.
