Every year, during the "Preview Show" (series of screenings organised annually during which films recently deposited with Light Cone are shown), Light Cone organizes a cycle of projections, that is divided this year in two parts. For the first part, we have asked some distributors (Heure Exquise!, LUX and Sixpackfilm), major European actors of the experimental cinema scene, to prepare cartes blanches so that the Parisian audience would have the opportunity to discover the recent acquisitions of their catalogue (price : 6€; discount ticket : 4,5€). For the second part, the closing evening, Light Cone will propose a special evening with a program of recent films from the collection (video and 16mm), performances, installations, and projections of expanded films.
Created in 1975, Heure Exquise ! is specialized in the promotion of video art and video creation. Starting with an essentially creative project, Heure Exquise ! has progressively set up its activities of distribution , screenings , documentation and training in video creation and electronic arts. www.exquise.org
