To coincide with his large personal exhibition to take place at the LaM (the Lille Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, Contemporary Art and Art Brut) in Villeneuve-d'Ascq from February 24 to June 4, 2017, Light Cone invites the artist Michel Nedjar.
A complete artist and an insatiable experimenter, Michel Nedjar has used a variety of media throughout his career. This includes drawing and sculpture (which have brought him many exhibitions and international acclaim), as well as the still image, with photography, and the moving image, with amateur cinema formats such as super-8 in the 1970s and video in recent years.
This program presents his most recent works, as well as a film by his life partner Teo Hernandez, with whom he had formed the collective « MétroBarbèsRochechou Art », alongside Jakobois and Gaël Badaud.
