EXISTENCE is an experimental short film trilogy dedicated to insects and life. The film's title refers to the alarming decline in insect populations. Insects sustain life and it’s time we give them the respect they deserve.
EXISTENCE II focuses on bees, proposing a gaze filled with curiosity and compassion. EXISTENCE III shows an example of how endangered species can live within urban settings and how their habitats can be integrated successfully into human infrastructure. Since increasingly large areas have been built up and covered by asphalt due to urbanization, in the future every possible square meter should be utilized for the preservation of natural diversity.
