Martin Arnold’s latest publication is the first comprehensive monograph to document his artistic development, focusing on the cartoon films created in recent years. It presents both the formal characteristics of his works and their discursive positioning as far as issues such as "cel animation", "repetition", and "disappearance" are concerned. It also deals with the question of how to present filmic works in a book. Martin Arnold has created an image sequence specifically for this medium.
