Stéphan Guéneau (France) works on large format analogue photography (4x5), 16mm films and installations.
Stéphan Guéneau studied in l'École des Beaux-Arts de Rouen in France, in the Wolverhampton Polytechnic and in the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin with Prof. Martin Engelman, followed by a postgraduate year in Budapest invited by the Hungarian Artists Union (Magyar Képzőművészek Szövetsége) and the Young Artists Studio (Fiatal Művészek Klubja). He was a Master student at Le Fresnoy — Studio national des arts contemporains with guest artists Michael Snow and Raúl Ruiz. He has been collaborating with Louise Crawford since 2000.
He lives and works in Paris / Berlin.
