Michel HENRITZI

Michel Henritzi (born in Metz in 1959) is a musician, producer, and music critic, and a laureate of the Villa Kujoyama in Kyoto in 2007. In the 1980s, he collaborated with several industrial rock bands and founded the AKT label with the Nox collective.

Since 2001, he has managed the label À Bruit Secret, is a member of the groups Dustbreeders and O'Death Jug, and the label Élevage de Poussière with Thierry Delles and Yves Botz. He regularly performs with Junko (Hijokaidan) and Rinji Fukuoka (Majutsu No Niwa).

"By helping to introduce the Japanese and New Zealand experimental scenes, his writings for Revue & Corrigée represented, for us, the equivalent of those by Anglo-Saxons Nick Cain (in Opprobrium) and Alan Cummings (in The Wire)."
