Mathieu ARSENAULT

Mathieu Arsenault is an electronic musician and sound artist based in Montreal. His work explores the integration and transformation of voice and body within digital art practices. More recently, he has developed a growing interest in the relationship between sound and image, which he explores through collaborations with filmmaker Charles-André Coderre and video artist Véro Marengère. Fractures Chimiques, his collaboration with Charles-André Coderre, has been presented at various festivals including MUTEK Montréal, Les Percéïdes in Percé, and the International Film Festival Rotterdam.

He also performs live under the pseudonym SEULEMENT, his latest project through which he has delivered performances at numerous festivals, including the experimental music festival OK LÀ in Verdun, Wavelength in Toronto, Sled Island in Calgary, FME in Rouyn-Noranda, and Suoni per il Popolo in Montreal. SEULEMENT’s debut album, EX PO, was released at the end of 2021 on the Montreal-based label Mothland.
