Louise Crawford is a visual artists working in photography, film and installation. She studied at Falmouth School of Art in Cornwall, England, did a Post-Graduate at Düsseldorf Kunstakademie, Germany and a Master in Interdisciplinary Arts at Le Fresnoy- studio national des arts contemporains in Tourcoing, France. While on a British Council Scholarship to Budapest, she researched Hungarian experimental film, at the Béla Balász Studio, in particular the Experimental K section created by Gabor Body.
Since 2002 she has worked on film, installation and photography projects with Stéphan Guéneau.
In 2014 she co-founded Whispering Grass, an online sound publication of interviews with visual artists, with French art historian Rozenn Canevet. She lives and works in Paris and Berlin.
