WHEN I DRAW MYSELF, I EXIST THREEFOLD

In her ninetieth year, the painter Florentina Pakosta sits down in front of the mirror that has witnessed her self-portraits for decades. Just as Pakosta's drawings were created at the time as proof of her existence, the cinematic encounter with Perschon now captures the gestures and glances in the visual artist's reflection as a performative act of self-assurance.
