LIQUID PARTICLE

by Keitaro OSHIMA
2002 / b&w / mute / 1S / 3' 00

"A work created through self-processing.
During development, a smooth flow of particles was exposed onto the film, resulting from the shadows cast by undissolved crystals of powdered developing chemicals. Alongside the directional flow of these particles on the film, collages of pre-existing movie film were incorporated. This piece presents a dialogue between the film material and found-footage, blending their distinct textures and visual elements."
