SERIES OF PORTRAITS
The regular and relatively assiduous attendance, at a certain time, to so called experimental screenings, organized by the various structures in Paris, led me inexorably and instinctively to keep a kind of film diary or rather a testimony in the form of collective or group portraits of the spectators, aficionados and other devotees or simple passers-by to these regular screenings in Paris, and this over several years...
One comes across a few figures of legend (without irony on my part, although the term is pompous), not to quote their names, but then you will discover them by yourself by watching these portraits, unknowns of course, and the usual habitués which one finds in several episodes of this series...
The strongly marked granulous picture's texture, on account of a hazardous and risky film processing in laboratory L'ETNA (less serious than L'ABOMINABLE and less qualified too!) agrees completely with the spindrift of nostalgia which emanates from past times and melancholy as a guiding wire of my filmography !
