"This is the first film for which Kren used slides. He photographed fragments of a crumbling wall and made large positive and negative slides of them. He then filmed them frame by frame, following a precise pattern. Alternating positive and negative images of the same piece of wall creates movement, because the content of the image is constantly changing. Kurt also treats the meadow, crossed by a path where walkers stroll, as a surface in movement." - Hans Scheugl.
