Stanley Schtinter has been described as an ‘artist' by the Daily Mail and as an ‘exorcist' by the Daily Star. Artist, filmmaker and author, his projects include Last Movies (2023, 26 - Institute of Contemporary Arts, London; Light Industry, NYC), Schneewittchen (2025 - IFFR; BFI), The Lock-In (2022 onwards - Int'l Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen; The Barbican) and Important Books [or, Manifestos Read by Children] (2021-22 - Whitechapel Gallery, London). He is the founder of the Liberated Film Club and soundtrack label purge.xxx. His moving image work is distributed by Light Cone.
