Maeva AUBERT

Maeva Aubert was born in Paris. After studying Art History and Aesthetics at the Sorbonne, she lived several years in New York where she studied Film Directing at Brooklyn College and at Film Video Art. She was a regular at Anthology Film Archives, while curating and working on her own films as « Loisada, Avenue C » ( 2004), a 52 mn experimental documentary on a community garden in NYC.
China 66, both film and video installation in 3 screens have been acquired by FRAC Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur in 2009 and have been shown in Lille and Hong Kong.
She lives in Marseille ( France) where she’s a free lance curator in film and video art in parrallel to her video art work.
