Screening in the presence of the filmmakers (TBC)
In 2014, Light Cone initiated the Atelier 105 artist residencies, which are specifically dedicated to video-based post-production of films that fall within the realm of experimental cinema.
A fully equipped workspace located in Light Cone's facilities is available to filmmakers under the supervision of a technician who can train and accompany the artists in residency throughout the editing, color grading and sound mix of their films up to the creation of the DCP. In 2018, a film scanner for the digitization of 16mm & 35mm film in 2K & 4K was acquired so as to complete the post-production chain.
During 2018, thirteen films (one feature, two medium-length, ten shorts) were finalised at the Atelier 105 residencies; we are proud to present to you the French premiere of five of these films.
