SPELLBOUND (CLOSING EVENT)

Closing evening in partnership with Les Instants Chavirés, introduced by Mika Taanila as part of Scratch Collection 2023

A hypno-circular program where rotating film reels evoke gentle spells. Brion Gysin’s Dream Machine is not too alien to 3D Hollywood abstractions. A dense selection of musical short films is followed by two live performances by Charles Hayward (This Heat, Camberwell Now) and filmmaker John Smith.
