Ultima (prélude) weaves a dialogue between Norse mythology and marine biology, exploring the hypothesis of an abyssal genesis. The exploration of volcanic and oceanic landscapes becomes a reflection on the origin of life. From geysers to polar waves, optical experiments in physics to microscopic marine organisms, the film navigates between these multiple scales of observation.
