Screening in partnership with the Cinémathèque du Documentaire of the BPI, presented by Vivian Ostrovsky, Marion Bonneau, and Emmanuel Lefrant
In 2021, Vivian Ostrovsky was invited to "burrow herself for fifteen days in the 6000 films of Light Cone’s collection in order to dig up six programs for the darkness of the cinema!" On this occasion, she recalled her affection for the organization: "In 1982, I was finishing my first short film just as Light Cone was opening. All my films are held there." She hoped that the "result of this extraction from an unparalleled collection would reveal unique, oneiric, transgressive female creators to an audience that can draw inspiration from them." From the 420 minutes originally programmed for the Scratch Collection series, a sampling of landscape-themed films has been selected, with one new addition.
