On October 26 and 27, the Cinémathèque québécoise presents two screenings of experimental cinema on the occasion of the publication of the book Expanded Nature - Écologies du cinéma expérimental, edited by Elio Della Noce and Lucas Murari and published by Light Cone Éditions. The first program brings together filmmakers who, in an era marked by the scope of human impact on the rest of the living world (the Anthropocene), take up ecological practices in an attempt to decenter the privilege attributed to the human. The second program is an opportunity to discover the work of Emmanuel Lefrant, the director of Light Cone, who regularly collaborates with the Cinémathèque québécoise.

Presented in collaboration with Leadership for the Ecozoic, Critical Media Lab (McGill Anthropology Department), Hors Champ and Visions.
