Born in Perpignan on the 13th of May, 1959, he now lives and works in Paris.
He studied Modern Literature at the Montpellier III University and went on to a Art History program at the EHESS in 1984. From 1985 to 2002 he teaches Fine Art and Literature in Languedoc, Normandy and Ile de France. From 1982 to 1983 he teaches in Malaysia and authors radio pieces in Hong Kong. He has applied himself – and still does – to painting, drawing, cinema and video. He is particularly interested in the relationship between cinema and video : « About the subject of my practice of video and cinema, the word "dramaturgy" would apply in no sense and would need to be replaced with a less exogenous term, more related to the constitutive elements of the elaborative process of film.
To experiment film medium hybridisation, to practice passing from one media to another, one needs to take into account the specificities of each and their irreducible differences. »
